CinemaFX for Video App Reviews

I dont know how to break this to you, but 720p is NOT supported on iPod Touch. Select 720p (I dont want any less) and it crashes as soon as you try and render. It feels like every time I come to iTunes, I get robbed.

Offers a range of filters from B&W to night vision. The interface could be more intuitive - took me a bit to find the controls to adjust levels on each filter. The rendering process is slow, but the apps preview can display the original and the modified clips side by side. Alongside ReelDirector and Slowmo, Im impressed with this devs work.

Sorta like the Hipstamatic for video. Except you can overlay multiple features without having to shoot the video with them embedded. The high quality rendering is slow on the 3GS, but its got half the ram of the 4. The ability to overlay more than 3 effects at a time (without rendering/exporting/importing) would be nice. Also the ability to trim and cut in app would be nice, but alongside ReelDirector this app is great.

This app is so cool can create different color tone. Even tho u need to purchase special colors but is only 99 cents, I recommend this app to anyone!

... simply too slow. Effects look great, I almost bought both in app packs right away, but after converting a 7-second video, its rendering is-- JUST TOO SLOW. Not recommended for now, until some useful updates from developer anyways. I know were not using a desktop guys, but this is ridiculous.

Shitty, doesnt work. Rendering takes to long and afterwards it still doesnt play the clip!

This is one of my favorite app for video. I just love the effects.

I have downloaded almost every film editing app and I use this one the most. Rendering is good and gives great results every time. Love this app!!!!!

Lots of great options and the conversion process is faster than it was before but still not completely ideal. Eventually over time once iPhones get faster chips this will be a much better app.

Good app, but theres some problems with the widescreen effect. Its impossible to render it normally...

Good App. Has some really nice effects. Rendering still takes a bit, but its better with the new upgrade and the new iPhone 4S. One quirk is that the 1080 HD render option seems to be only available for video taken within the App. For video imported into the App the highest render option is only 720p.

Good app. Almost my number one video app except it doesnt support 1080p imports on iPhone 4S. Thus, cant use it without loosing video quality. Gain 1080p support and I give it 5 stars.

You guys really need to bring an update for this app , rendering is sooooo slow !

I would give this 5 stars if you would do two things. 1) import 1080p video without resizing it down. 2) speed up the rendering if possible. Also maybe better directions on how to adjust the FX.

Wow. I was 29 when rendering started and I am now 50 years old. Effects are good, it would just be nice if rendering were quicker.

By far the most comprehensive and full features effects suite for video. Worth the money but I really hope they can improve the rendering speed. Using an iPhone 4s and 15 seconds of video takes almost 5 minutes with a few effects. Surely this can be improved.

Hey guys. This app is great but why such low resolution? I try to filter my nice video even from low resolution and it looks good until I render it. Then it comes out looking like it was shot on a cellphone from the 90s. the app it self is perfect other then rendering rather slowly. I just would like my videos to to as good as they did before I run them through the pixelation machine.

This app needs serious upgrade! Rendering extremely slow + Resolution very bad!!

It is amazing. Fully featured, not just a simple toy. Great quality of produced movies.

There is no doubt that this app is best for color correction in video. But need some great improvement Add more video filter as of sony creative , final cut pro, magic bullet software as they have beautiful filter used in hollywood movies Dont compress video on importing and editing Take longer time even only for one minute footage video Make it fast Can only use 3 default filtet for video. Why cant use more filter at once while editing video
